Stayed at a spacious and updated room with the King bed and aircon and very good bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed a varied and exceptional meal in the morning. Its location was very central, a couple of blocks away from Clock Tower.

The room I stayed in was elegant and new-fashioned with lovely furnishings and the same level as the Sky Terrace and a normal window. The hotel was in a very central location close to everything.

The charming queen room that we stayed in was spacious and elegant. Got lovely bed and a safe box, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a mini bar fridge. The service was exceptional, including marvellous breakfasts and a heated pool.

It has very welcoming and incredible staff at the reception desk on check in and check out and perfect facilities.

Top-class and overall clean place, extraordinary service-minded and genuinely helpful staff when we had an issue with the breakfast the manager sorted it out. Convenient and ideal location for Bern, near other restaurants in Bern and the train station and shopping.

Had a spacious room to myself with a great deep bath and the same level as the Sky Terrace, for instance. The breakfast was varied and exceptional and included in our rate. It was in a marvellous and lovely location a couple of blocks away from Gardens.

Wonderful check-in experience, we were greeted with a friendly smile and efficient service. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, creating a romantic atmosphere for our evening away. The location of the hotel is perfect, with the main train/bus/tram stations just a few steps away, making it easy to explore all that Bern has to offer. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The amenities in the room were great, especially the complimentary mini bar. We also appreciated the daily weather forecast, a nice touch! we had a fabulous stay at Schweizerhof Bern & Spa and would highly recommend it.

For a hotel of this level it was sad to see thick layers of dust on the ceiling next to the lamp in the toilet.

Located opposite the train station with easy access via a pedestrian underpass. Friendly and professional staff, especially the helpful concierge. Perfect location for exploring the old town and convenient for day trips. Excellent food and comfortable rooms with lovely amenities.

A true luxury and extremely convenient hotel with very efficient employees at the reception desk. Brand-new room, perfect beds and luxurious bathroom. Marvellous view of town and rich and marvellous breakfast. Easy check-in, parking on site. By the way, parking fee - usd 57 per day.

Fabulous refinishing combining old world style with high tech pampering

Excellent location and within walking distance from everything in the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Mini-bar was loaded with complimentary items, so much so that we could not take advantage of all in the two days we were there. Valet parking was very efficient. Each time the car was brought around, we were offered complimentary bottled water for our journey. Overall, an a+ on this Hotel. Definitely the best Bern has to offer!!

The spa was not completed, at the time of our stay. We were under the impression that the remodeling had been completed. When one considers a price of 650 chf per night, plus 40 chf for parking, a spa is expected. We should have been provided a refund on the value of the spa. Although we do not smoke, for those who do, the smoking/cigar lounge is also not yet available.

the hotel is fabulous with welcoming staff, breakfast is marvellous, fantastic location opposite the station.
